Waterside Cleanup:
We are looking to combine the waterside cleanup effort with a night of fellowship, potentially cleaning up the area and then meeting after for a casual dinner/cocktail hour.
We are still waiting on our permit.
The Blood Drive was a massive success, exceeding Connect Life's goal with 22 donations and 22 lives saved! We will be running another blood drive this summer- details TBA. Thank you Christina for organizing this!
The Interact Club is running a food Drive. Christina is requesting the help of Rotarians on Saturday May 22nd to drive around the village while the Interact Club members load the food. We will meet at the AHS parking lot. Once you route is complete, you can deliver the food to the Akron Food Pantry on S. Newstead Rd. Please call or text Christina at 716-713-7363 if you can help
Program: Mike Billoni: A History of Buffalo Baseball
Mike is former sport journalist and has put a lot of work into the book "Seasons of Buffalo Baseball".
The book was so successful, they will be releasing a second edition in June of this year. It covers the history of Buffalo baseball from 1857 to 2020.
Tickets for the Jays will go on sale on Tuesday for season ticket holders and on Thursday or the general public.
