Announcements: 
  • The Interact Club will be picking up their food drive donations. They need drivers. We will be meeting at Russell Park tomorrow, May 22nd at 9 am. Please email Christina if you plan to attend. 
  • Our Pancake Breakfast is in a week and a half. All hands on deck- be on standby to final details and sign up lists via email.   
Program:
  • Pancake Breakfast
    • We are in the final week of preparing for the Pancake Breakfast. The sub-committee is Andy, Leah, Marlene and Herm. Please direct any questions or suggestions to them!
    • Plan on arriving between 6:30 and 7:30.
    • A work sign up list will be circulated via Google Forms early next week. 
  • Program: Slapshot summary from Interact Members
    • ​​​​​​​The Interact members attended the weeklong Slapshot Conference, held on Zoom for an hour and a half every night. 
    • They found it to be a great experience for developing leadership skills, improving critical thinking and productive discussion as well as a great experience to meet fellow, like minded Interact members. 
    • One of the lessons they took away from this experience was to always take risks, even if you fail!
    • Their Blessings in a Backpack program is going well. They are packing 35-40 backpacks in the elementary school and 13 backpacks in the middle school. 
    • Thank you to Rebecca, Natalie and Sarah for your dedication to service above self. We are very proud of you all!
